    写给科比的诗道倒有一首..!

    The title: "The Warrior Within"
    文章题目:“心目中的勇士”,

Kobe Bryant, a man who cannot be bent,
    科比·布莱恩特,一个坚强并且难以屈服的男人,
Often hated because of his amazing talent
    经常因为他惧人的天赋而被人们所嫉妒,
By the end of the day, they will recognize,
    直到现在,他们才意识到,
Everyone watch out, he will posterize!
    当所有人都在看他比赛时,他始终会坚持到最后。

Bloody, wounded and beaten his opponents are,
    “血腥、勇猛甚至残忍”地面对他的对手,
ravaged by the wrath of the hated star,
    愤怒在一定情况下对他也起作用,
you may be say that he is the last emperor
    你也许会说他是最后的帝王,
    Abandoned, lonely and brought low,
    即使孤独、屈从和以及被抛弃。

Nobody can stop the one-man show,
    没有任何人能停止这个男人的所谓表现,
They were all humbled by kobe who is their foe.

    视他为仇敌的对手在他面前依旧得低头。
The time has come for him to rise,
    时间在催促他不断地奋进,
    He'll come unexpectedly and surprise,
    而他却一次又一次地奉献神奇和不可能,
Everybody bow down or meet your demise!
    一个终结者,你有理由不对他致敬鞠躬吗?

    Burning passion and unbelievable skill,
    持续的进攻和另人难以置信的球技,
Everyone against him, he will kill.
    使他在所有人围攻他时依旧嗜血,
Soon, love and acceptance he will gain.
    很快地,你会发现他会更加地热爱和接受这项运动,
The legacy he leaves will forever remain...
    而他留给世人的一切也将永存...

    2009 NBA Playoff Predictions (Updated)
    Written by mookie
    Sunday, 29 March 2009 05:08
The race to the NBA playoffs is just starting to get interesting. Here is a renewed look at how the first round of the playoffs is shaping up, along with my predictions on outcomes.

    EASTERN CONFERENCE

    1. Cleveland Cavs v 8. Detroit Pistons

Initially it looked like the Bobcats might grab this eighth spot with the recent poor showing by the Pistons, but the young guns of the Pistons have managed to hold the ship afloat. In addition, the Pistons have a much easier run home than the Bobcats do. Cleveland will make short work of the Pistons here -- this is not like recent years where the Cavs were the young challenger to the experienced Pistons.

    Prediction: Cleveland win 4-1

    2. Orlando Magic v 7. Chicago Bulls

The Bulls have actually looked improved in recent weeks. The additions of John Salmons and Brad Miller has done wonders for the team. Luol Deng's absence hurts though, as it has done for much of the season. The Magic have steamrolled almost all opponents in their path this season behind Dwight Howard and the Bulls will be no exception. Look at this as a great learning experience for Derrick Rose, Bulls fans.

    Prediction: Magic win 4-1

    3. Boston Celtics v 6. Philadelphia 76ers

The Cs are just reloading with the return of Kevin Garnett to the fray. However come playoff time they are still the battle-tested team that were titlists in 2008. The Sixers will put up a fight, but will be lucky to take out a game.

    Prediction: Celtics win 4-0

    4. Atlanta Hawks v 5. Miami Heat

By far the most entertaining series in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. It will be a high-flying team in the Hawks against a high-flying one man show in Dwyane Wade. This one will go all the way. It is worth noting that the Hawks are a fantastic home team and a poor road team -- look for this one to go on home court advantage most of the way. Somehow I can see Wade stealing a game in Atlanta though, taking out this series.

    Prediction: Heat win 4-3

    WESTERN CONFERENCE

    1. Los Angeles Lakers v 8. Dallas Mavericks

The Lakers are an unstoppable force, led by an unflappable scorer and top-class defender in Kobe Bryant. The likely return of Andrew Bynum off the bench will not help this squad's chances either. Dirk Nowitzki will put up his share of 30 point games, but ultimately this will be a warmup for the Lakers en route to the Finals.

    Prediction: Lakers win 4-1

    2. San Antonio Spurs v 7. New Orleans Jazz

The West is tighter than your dad's wallet in a recession right now. The gap ween the Spurs and the Hornets is only 3.5 games right now -- that is just ridiculous. There is every chance that the Jazz could be sitting in this spot, playing the Spurs, or they could even be playing the Rockets in this position. Everything could change, but sticking with this prediction, this will be a great series. San Antonio is lacking the power of Manu Ginobili, but Drew Gooden is a solid addition in the big man department. The golden rule is, never ever misunderestimate Tony Parker and Tim Duncan. Chris Paul may pull out all stops, but at the end of the day, there is noone on the Hornets (David West included) who is as reliable in the clutch as TP and TD.

    Prediction: Spurs win 4-3

    3. Houston Rockets v 6. Utah Jazz

The Rockets just do not have any luck when it comes to injuries. Perhaps a product of this is the fact that they do not have any success in the NBA playoffs of late. The loss of Tracy "Knee-Mac" McGrady again for the season placed a foreboding dark cloud over the Rockets' hopes. Yao Ming alone is not enough to win a series and unfortunately for the Rockets, Ron Artest is not enough to fill the gap. The Jazz are a team in fine form and their team chemistry is firing on cylinders. With a floor general like Deron Williams, Pacific Ocean-like depth on the bench and a seasoned coach in Jerry Sloan, the Jazz will take this series out in style.

    Prediction: Jazz win 4-2

    4. Denver Nuggets v 5. Portland Trail Blazers

The Nuggets have hit their straps in the last week. Carmelo Anthony is in his finest scoring form, Linas Kleiza is contributing well, Kenyon Martin hasn't broken anything by stretching the wrong way and of course, Mr Big Shot, Chauncey Billups is who he is. They have a very deep second unit, yet they will be coming up against a team that can rival them on many of those fronts. The Blazers are as deep as any team in the league, have a steadfast leader in Brandon Roy, a dynamic frontcourt scorer in LaMarcus Aldridge and fantastic defence under the basket. This one will be a thrillride of a series, however I'm going to show some Blazer bias here and go with my feeling that the Blazers can pull a little more out of that youthfully exuberant bag and win this.

    Prediction: Blazers win 4-3

    《纽约时报》
CLEVELAND — Whether it was an act of accountability or arrogance, Mo Williams had put the pressure atop his sinewy shoulders with his series guarantee. But it was LeBron James who had to carry the true weight of those words with little help. And although James needed little help Thursday evening, he got it anyway.

LeBron James drove to the hoop against Mickael Pietrus of the Orlando Magic in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Schedule/Results Roster | Statistics The Cleveland Cavaliers found their playoff moxie in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals and delivered a balanced 112-102 reminder that they have playoff breath remaining.

James added to his burgeoning postseason résumé and had a direct hand in 32 consecutive points scored by the Cavaliers in the third and fourth quarters, including their first 28 of the fourth, as the Cavaliers sent the best-of-seven series back to Orlando. They trail the Magic by 3-2.

    James’s mind-set?

    “Just close out,” he said.

    He did with resolve.

“We just gave him the ball and said ‘Give is some good looks, big fella,’ ” Cleveland Coach Mike Brown said. With the Magic seeking to double-team James, the Cavaliers inserted him at the high post, where he could either pass or make a path to the basket, a move that routinely resulted in a foul.

“That’s what great players do,” Brown said. “Great players put their teams on their back and everybody steps up when the ball comes to them. But you have a player like LeBron who puts them on his back.”

James’s twisting drive through the lane with 2 minutes 22 seconds remaining resulted in a finish at the rim, Dwight Howard’s fouling out and a revitalization of the series.

With chants of “M.V.P.” raining down from a delirious Quicken Loans Arena audience, James put the Cavaliers ahead, 102-93.

His encore was a long 2-point jumper, then an assist with a quick flick of his wrist to Anderson Varejao.

James got his first triple-double of the series with a stunning 37 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. He scored 15 of his points at the free-throw line.

For once, it was not a solitary effort, and James was free to fully dissect the Magic’s defense. Williams, who scored 24, became the first Cavalier other than James with at least 20 points in a game in the series. Zydrunas Ilguaskas chipped in 16 points on 8 shots and Daniel Gibson connected on three of his four 3-point attempts.

“That’s what I need from those guys,” James said. “I don’t add no pressure on my teammates, but they know we’re a very strong team when they make shots.”

This time it was the Cavaliers who celebrated burying 3-pointers. They gritted their teeth, flexed their muscles and showed resolve by not allowing the Magic to leave with a victory despite their battling back from an early deficit.

The Cavaliers climbed to a 22-point first-quarter lead, then gave all but a wisp of it up by halftime, leading by only 56-55 at the break. The game swayed entering the final quarter with Orlando ahead, 79-78, before James opened the period with his assists to Williams and Gibson. He went on to score the Cavaliers’ next 10 points. Orlando had no answer.

“They hit shots and basically we’ve got to do a ter job of containing LeBron at the top of the key,” Howard said. “He got a lot of easy shots and he creates for others.”

The win moved the Cavaliers one step closer in an arduous path that runs against the grains of N.B.A. history. Only eight teams have rallied from a 3-1 deficit in N.B.A. history; 190 have tried.

“We feel like we’ve been put in a lot of different situations and we feel like we can handle any situation that may come our way,” Brown said.

The Cavaliers are still grappling with how to best defend Orlando’s arsenal of 3-point shooters and the interior presence of Howard. They did not stymie Howard on Thursday and seemed resigned to foul him. Howard still collected 24 points and 10 rebounds on a relatively thrifty 10 shots.

Hedo Turkoglu scored a team-high 29 points for the Magic, but Rafer Alston, who had the hot hand in Game 4, made only 1 of his 10 shots.

Brown sought advice from San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich on how to suture the Cavaliers’ defensive leaks.

When asked before the game if he had the answer, James responded: “I don’t know. If I had a great answer, it wouldn’t be 3-1 Orlando at this point. We knew they were a competent team to go against because they’ve got the interior in Dwight and they’ve got so many guys around him that can shoot.”

They did have a steady, if completely realistic, game plan for their own mental approach.

“We’re going to approach every game like it’s our last,” James said beforehand. “It’s the panic button. Not panic like it’s the end of the world, but we’ve got to play three good games.”

One down, two to go. Every game could be the Cavaliers’ last. But for a night, at least, their hopes lived on with a little backup for James.

    REBOUNDS

The game held a distinct New York flavor among its audience to witness LeBron James. C. C. Sabathia, Alex Rodriguez and Mariano Rivera of the Yankees, who begin a series against the Cleveland Indians on Friday, sat in the first row behind the Cavaliers’ bench. The music mogul Jay-Z, a part owner of the Nets, sat courtside.
